    7-Day Payday Super Rule Begins 1 July 2026

    From 1 July 2026, Super Guarantee contributions must reach employees’ super funds within 7 business days after payday. Review payroll processes to ensure timely payments and maintain compliance.

    Australia Raises Minimum Wage by 4.75%

    Effective 1 July 2026, the National Minimum Wage increases to AUD 26.44/hour or AUD 1,005/week. Employers should update payroll systems and employee pay rates accordingly.

    Paid Parental Leave Extended to 26 Weeks

    From 1 July 2026, government-funded Paid Parental Leave increases from 24 to 26 weeks. HR teams should plan for longer employee absences and workforce continuity.

    Bangladesh Tax Rebate Rules

    Investment Tax Rebate Rules Revised in Bangladesh

    The tax rebate is now limited to the lowest of 3% of taxable income, 10% of eligible investment, or BDT 750,000. To maximize the rebate, eligible investments should equal 30% of taxable income.
