Job Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous and knowledgeable Legal Consultant specializing in contracts to join our team. The ideal
candidate will have a strong understanding of contract law and negotiation techniques, with a focus on drafting, reviewing,
and managing contracts across various business functions.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Draft & Review Contracts: As a regular activity, legal consultant will be responsible for vetting the contracts/agreements with parties in business with Procloz. The response time cannot be more than 24 Hours
- Ensure that contracts accurately reflect the parties' intentions and protect the company's interests
- • Develop and implement processes and systems for efficient contract management, including contract templates, tracking systems, and renewal procedures. Maintain an organized repository of contracts and related documents
- Ensure that all contracts comply with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies. Stay informed about changes in relevant laws and regulations that may impact contract terms and conditions
- Conduct risk assessments of proposed contracts to identify potential legal and business risks. Provide recommendations for mitigating risks and maximizing opportunities for the company.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to internal stakeholders on contractual matters, including interpreting contract terms, resolving contract disputes, and negotiating favorable terms and conditions.
- Participate in contract negotiations with external parties to secure favorable terms and conditions for the company. Collaborate with business teams to balance legal requirements with business objectives.
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Providing legal advice and guidance to SLT/Management on various legal matters, including contracts, compliance, regulatory issues, intellectual property, employment law, and litigation.
- Responsible for managing any legal disputes or litigation involving the company, including working with outside counsel, and representing the company in court.
- Advise SLT/Management on compliance with various laws and regulations, such as data protection laws, environmental laws, and labor laws, to ensure that the company operates in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Help Procloz to identify and manage legal risks by developing policies and procedures, providing support to employees on legal matters and conducting risk assessments.
